Bell County WCID #2 accepts public records requests during normal operating hours. To submit a Public Information Request, please download our Public Information Request Form, enter the necessary information and submit it to Bell County WCID #2 either by mail, email, or delivery.

Temporary Disinfection Change from Chloramine to Free Chlorine

 

In order to help improve overall water quality, Bell County WCID #2, (PWS) ID TX0140027, alongside the City of Temple, (PWS) ID TX0140005, will temporarily convert the disinfectant used in the distribution system from chloramine to free chlorine. The conversion will begin on February 1, 2025 and continue through February 28, 2025. During this period, you may experience taste and odor changes associated with this type of temporary disinfectant conversion.
